Say the Hard Thing

A 6-week online communication course that makes deep authenticity in relationships possible. Join us Mondays, from 12 Oct 2026

Y’know when you’re triggered by that annoying colleague at work, the friend that didn’t consider you, the boss that overlooks you, the critical parent ….

Expressing your boundaries & needs can be deeply uncomfortable. But it doesn’t have to be.

We want to empower each of you so that difficult conversations are no longer something you avoid - but embrace.

Because, truthfully, that’s how intimacy is built.

Georgie & Haneen are masters in this art - their lightness, thoughtfulness & passion immensely inspiring. Perfect role models. - Karen

I almost called this course “Because I love you”

WHY GO ON THIS JOURNEY?

🌳 "What if I’m too much?" – maybe you've served the role of mediator growing up, and developed a belief that having needs makes you a burden to others.

🌳 "My communication techniques backfire" –you focus on HOW to say things (like an enlightened therapist 😇) but when you try to use perfect non violent communication, your partner feels patronised.

🌳 “The same patterns keep coming up” – you often get stuck in the same story & over-analyse. It’s hard to connect to your body, and change your response.

🌳 “What’s my responsibility and what’s yours ?” – maybe you think everything is your fault, or you find yourself wanting to change your friend/partner!

🌳 “I can’t control my reactions, I either freeze or get defensive!” – your emotions get the best of you, and you struggle to regulate yourself when you’re triggered.

Beautiful relationships take work. But no one ever tells you what the work is.

This course does.

We hold back from expressing our own authentic desires, needs, and boundaries, because we are terrified of losing connection.

But authenticity & connection go together.

When we lean into difficult conversations with love, it leads to greater trust and intimacy.

Say the Hard Thing

Our next cohort starts in Oct/Nov 2026.

Transform Conflict into Connection is a programme to help you build more authenticity & intimacy in your relationships. Many of us struggle to lean into difficult conversations & conflict because we worry it will be uncomfortable.

This course will give you the confidence to speak up (with ease!) when a connection doesn't feel good so you can ask for your needs & build deeper relationships as a result!

Who it’s for

This programme is not for everyone. It is an embodied exploration of conflict and connection. We’ll be diving DEEP; examining our destructive relationship patterns and beliefs, exploring and expressing our feelings in real-time, and moving our bodies.

This is for you if…

✅ You’re committed to working through difficult conversations with your current close relationships.

✅ You want to gain confidence in your ability to handle conflict empathetically and directly.

✅ You’re interested in experiencing how conflict can ACTUALLY create deeper intimacy.

✅ You’d like to give feedback effectively and increase your chances of being heard & understood

✅ You’re eager to to feel your feelings, connect to your body & know what you need.

✅ Nice to haves: You’ve explored somatic practices, done the inner work, you’re familiar with some language tools, you’re aware of what makes you feel like crap and what makes you feel good.

This is not for you if…

❌ You don’t have examples of close relationships where you WANT to show up and go through difficult conversations.

❌ You’re not motivated to put in the work outside of the programme. You won’t change your relationships if you don’t experiment in everyday life.

❌ You’re undergoing major mental health concerns and hope this will substitute for therapy.

❌ It’s challenging for you to identify what you are thinking & feeling in the present moment. You’re unable to identify when you’re reactive or triggered.

❌ You expend a lot of energy wishing “things were different”. You’re not interested in looking inward towards yourself & examining your beliefs.

❌ You can’t attend 60% of the sessions – we want as much live attendance as possible.

Haneen Khan & Georgie Nightingall

Hi! We’re Haneen & Georgie

We're best friends with a love for playfulness, personal growth, trainings galore and dancing. When we met in 2017, Haneen played a massive role in Georgie's dance addiction & connection to her sensuality. Georgie opened the doorway to deep, meaningful conversations for Haneen with her original conversation events. Since then, we have explored some of the world - hiking in Austria and Yosemite, dancing 24-hour Zouk marathons in Europe and attending Burning Man.

Georgie Nightingall is a coach, facilitator, experience designer and PhD researcher (focusing on human connection design). Her mission is to make the world more human through the lost art of conversation and human connection. Since founding Trigger Conversations in 2016, she’s created global transformational conversation training programmes for individuals, universities, conferences and organisations. Her course invites you to strip the work labels, go beyond small talk and be real.

Haneen Khan is a lawyer turned intimacy coach. On a cheeky mission to help you feel joyful & connected to your desires in sex, dating & relating, her playful workshops encourage you to break free of old scripts, so you can step into truthful intimacy.

Haneen blends her training of the last 8 years in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Wheel of Consent, and Improv Theatre, with her personal obsessions in kink & ENM.

In her practice, Haneen coaches self-aware, "therapied" high-achievers to
- get out of their head and into their body, so they can access what they really want.
- voice their desires in bed, in dating, in love - without fearing rejection
- address difficult conversations your partner(s), with intentionality and care.

In all the crazy adventures, & collaborations & living together- we've had pleeeenty of clashes in our conflicting needs. So much opportunity to repair, be raw & honest. We definitely don't hold back and cherish our deeply loving culture of feedback in our friendship. And we want to give these tools to YOU!

“To say this is a “Conflict Course” is to completely underestimate the transformative value of increasing your awareness in how you connect and communicate with other humans... I gained greater confidence, clarity and awareness to navigate conversations on various levels of engagement and friction - this is truly life-changing work.”

Is it possible to build a deeply trusting & honest connection with someone?

WHAT CHANGES AFTER THIS COURSE?

Yes. IT'S TOTALLY POSSIBLE. Let me paint a picture of how your world may change after this course….

Imagine you feel hurt or offended by something your friend or colleague says or does. Instead of pretend smiling & brushing it off, you gently pause your friend and share that you're not as present as you want to be. You ask if they would be happy to hear what's on your mind. You share candidly what you feel, which is a little sensitive and emotional. Your delivery might be clumsy, but you're courageous, and you trust that your experience is valid and worthy of attention.

You share your hurt openly, taking responsibility for what it touches in you. You can identify what's happening in your body and what you need.

What is the Curriculum?

Your Investment

“The quality of your life, is the quality of your relationships”

But beautiful relationships don’t just happen - they require work and investment.

We know our programme is an investment. It’s worth it when you consider how much time and energy we waste on relationships that don’t fulfil us, or suppress our authentic selves!

This course teaches the single most (secret-not-so-secret) ingredient to help you elevate the intimacy in your life.

Make conflict your friend. And you will have deeper relationships.
